Rev. Carl Selle, campus missionary at
Peace Lutheran Campus Center, University of Wisconsin, has this to say about
Crossways International’s The Divine Plan evangelism tool (in
its new 8-frame pocket-sized pictogram format):
“It is the best teaching tool available for sharing
the message of God’s plan of salvation from Creation to Christ in
a way that crystallizes the key focus of the entire Bible. It’s much more
immediate and accessible than going into Scripture to do the same thing.
“I have used this convenient small-sized witnessing
tool that contains a powerful, huge-sized message in a variety of ways, including:
1. Sharing the Christian faith with a non-believer in
our “Conversation Partners” student ministry program, where American
university students are paired up with international students. The Peace Lutheran
students use the pocket-sized Divine Plan as a visual tool to talk about
their Christian faith.
2. Sharing God’s plan with a friend or
acquaintance. During an international conference in St. Louis, I gave
two of The Divine Plan miniatures to each attendee, with the request
that he/she keep one copy, and give and explain the other one to someone else.
3. Sharing the Divine Plan as the
main message during Sunday worship at our campus center. I gave The
Divine Plan to each person before the service began, and took about 10 minutes
explaining the eight frames depicting God’s plan for salvation. Then I
asked everyone to repeat (in his/her own words) The Divine Plan’s message
with a person next to them.”
“People really love The Divine Plan,” says
Rev. Selle. “I often hear comments like, ‘It is so easy to understand.
When I shared it with my friend, I found that I could express my faith so easily."
